The inspiration for this log cabin came from two sources, the first the iconic Australian movie The Castle and the second from the log home built at Castle Hill. New Zealand “The Doug” This log home should be call the Tardis from Dr Who as when you step in to this quaint looking log home it just opens up the great room, with the two sets of bi-fold doors opening outside for that Alfresco summer living and the stone fireplace and wrap around staircase leading to another bedroom with en-suite and a rumpus and study room’s for the kids. This house plan is a great getaway for two families’ to share their dream of a comfortable, yet affordable handcrafted log home.
